In this exciting dinner learning event, master's level supervisory licensed professional
counselor specialized in interventions with high-risk children and adolescents and
in offering specialty care to Gender Diverse clients Jenn Jefferson will discuss the
difference and nuances of sexual orientation and gender identity, review relevant
and current terminology, explore the social aspects of gender transition, and
discuss the unique confidentiality considerations in counseling and unique safety
concerns of the LGBTQ+ population.
