Hello all,      As of 1400 today, we have about 940+ people at the Dallas Convention Center, this is an increase from the total yesterday and represents some consolidation of shelter services. FEMA has begun offering hotel vouchers, but as of this morning there was some confusion over food and transportation vouchers, so many people are staying in shelters. Power is being restored in South Texas, but there are still many customers without power/water/sewage services. We would anticipate several more days of shelter services.

    The medical folks have seen almost 1000 and mental health has seen over 100, a mixture of onsite and offsite people. Read More »
