Hello to all female psychiatrists, psychiatric residents and fellows,

Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays.  We wish all of you a happy 2012. We want to thank Dr. Gretchen Megowen  for  hosting the Christmas party for both DAWP and NTSPP members.There was  plenty of good food to eat as well as opportunity to socialize with colleagues and their families.

Our next DAWP meeting for female psychiatrists, psychiatric residents and fellows will be on January 14th.   Our speaker is Dr.Carol North and her topic is  ” Should you give money to a homeless person”.   It will be a powerpoint presentation and we could use a screen if any one of you have it.  Let us know if we can borrow.

     The talk with be about menopause . At this meeting, Dr. Meghan Shaw will describe the presentation of menopause and the treatments offered at the familily care clinic that she works out of.
This will be an interesting discussion for us women psychiatrists to partake of.
