“The Solo Fee-for-service Private Practice of Psychiatry” by Alan Koenigsberg MD, then group discussion

Private room of local restaurant with self-serve, self-pay buffet line and wine available,  centrally located (available by email from NTSPPchapter@gmail.com)
      6:30 to 7:15 pm          Go through Buffet Line and order/pay for what you wish (Wine available) then go to the back private room and visit over dinner
     7:15 to 7:30 pm          NTSPP Business
     7:30 to 9:00 pm          Former NTSPP President Alan Koenigsberg MD presents then leads Group Discussion

Hello to all female psychiatrists, psychiatric residents and fellows,

Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays.  We wish all of you a happy 2012. We want to thank Dr. Gretchen Megowen  for  hosting the Christmas party for both DAWP and NTSPP members.There was  plenty of good food to eat as well as opportunity to socialize with colleagues and their families.

Our next DAWP meeting for female psychiatrists, psychiatric residents and fellows will be on January 14th.   Our speaker is Dr.Carol North and her topic is  ” Should you give money to a homeless person”.   It will be a powerpoint presentation and we could use a screen if any one of you have it.  Let us know if we can borrow.

All NTSPP Chapter Dues-Paid Psychiatrists, All APA-member UTSWMC Psychiatrist trainees*:   $30 per person

 *UTSWMC Psychiatrists in training who sign up and pay will be offered any ACE (Advocacy, Charity, Education) Fund donations to trainee dinners available to offset their charge on a first-come basis.   UTSWMC Psychiatry PGY’s, be sure to email NTSPPrsvp@gmail.com as you pay to be placed on the ACE Fund wait list.

2011 September 10 Saturday: DAWP 10 A to 12 N: “Eating disorders” by Urszula Kelley MD for all female psychiatrists and female psychiatrists in training

Our first Dallas Area Women Psychiatrists speaker for the month of September is  Urzsula Kelley MD who runs the eating disorder program in north dallas and is on the faculty of UTSW. She will share her insights into  ”EATING  DISORDERS” and  family dynamics and other  aspects of this commonplace condition.
